Upon completing his training, Dr. Rosenfeld spent his first years of practice at the Fallon Clinic (now, Reliant Medical Group) in Worcester, MA, where he was quickly promoted to Chief of Urology. He especially enjoyed teaching urology residents as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine, involved with all aspects of their training. From Worcester and to be closer to family, he and his family moved to Tucson, AZ where he went on to build a solo practice with a mission dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art patient care delivered in a personal, considerate environment.
This was highly successful yet with understanding the reality that solo practice was becoming more difficult and almost impossible, he was recruited back to Virginia Beach, bringing these same values to Urology of Virginia, where he practiced general urology for many years. From there and just a few years ago, he was recruited to LifeNet Health in Virginia Beach, where he quickly became the Chief Medical Director, having to develop an expertise in organ and tissue transplantation. Believing that he would return to urologic practice at some time in the future; Dr. Rosenfeld maintained his board certification and commitment . He is excited to return to Urology of Virginia and assist in clinical practice wherever needed.
Dr. Rosenfeld feels privileged to practice medicine and care for patients. From a personal standpoint, his passion from an early age has always been basketball. He believes strongly in exceptional communication and teamwork and is the author of two books that demonstrate the relationship of learning basketball at a young age and applying those skills to real world situations later. Dr. Rosenfeld remains an assistant varsity basketball coach at a Norfolk High School and teaches classes on working as a team to groups in varied industries.
Dr. Rosenfeld is board certified by the American Board of Urology and the National Board of Medical Examiners and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He’s a member of the American Urological Association and the Mid-Atlantic Section.
