Born and raised in Virginia, Tysheena is a dedicated nurse practitioner with extensive clinical experience in hospital medicine, urgent care, and urology. Since becoming a nurse practitioner in 2016, she has been committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes. Before transitioning into her advanced practice role, Tysheena worked in critical care and nursing education. She’s worked in various critical care units as a staff and traveling nurse.
Holding a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, along with master’s degrees as a nurse practitioner and nurse educator, Tysheena combines clinical expertise with a passion for education and mentorship. Beyond healthcare, she enjoys traveling with family, watching movies, shopping, and cherishing time with her five children and two grandchildren. Driven by a deep desire to positively impact others, Tysheena strives to be a blessing to every person encountered through meaningful and compassionate interactions.
