Urology of Virginia – in partnership with CRMC – completed some of the first Aquablation cases yesterday with our Dr. Young.
These were the first cases in South Hampton Roads and Northeastern North Carolina – and CRMC is the only hospital offering this service. Aquablation therapy, is an innovative new procedure for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Unlike other treatment options, this procedure delivers relief with fewer side effects and a shorter recovery time. “With Aquablation, patients have a treatment option that can be highly customized and has few risks,” said Dr. James Young, “It will undoubtedly enhance the quality of life for men in our region who choose the procedure and are affected by BPH.” We are so proud of this milestone, Dr. Young!
