The Devine-Jordan Center is a regional, national and international referral center dedicated to the treatment of complex male and female urologic disorders. Our mission is to provide each patient with an individual, personalized approach to treatment ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and the best possible outcomes.
Our History
Drs. Charles and Patrick Devine and Dr. Gerald Jordan pioneered many of the surgical innovations that today are the standards of care worldwide for conditions due to birth defect or trauma such as hypospadias, urethral stricture, urethral distraction, and penile reconstruction. Their legacy is the driving force behind the Devine-Jordan Center. Our fellowship-trained urologists continue to be leaders in the field of genitourinary reconstructive surgery, making notable contributions to urologic literature, and participating in national and international medical conferences. They also serve as visiting professors at many centers throughout the world.
The Devine-Jordan surgeons volunteer with international medical missions providing medical-surgical education to physicians and nurses, and advanced treatment to suffering children and adults.
Our Programs
Male Program
The Devine-Jordan Center is a referral center for the treatment of:
- urethral stricture disease
- urethral disruption injuries from pelvic fracture
- rectourethral fistulas after prostatectomy or pelvic surgery
- radiation-induced urinary fistulas
- penile reconstruction from birth defects or trauma
- male incontinence
- curvature of the penis from Peyronie’s disease and other causes
- erectile dysfunction
- hypospadias
- other penile and urethral disorders
In addition, our Men’s Health Center provides resources for men to live an active, healthy lifestyle before and after surgery for prostate cancer. It is our goal to minimize the postoperative complications of erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence by starting rehabilitation before surgery, thus maximizing the chances to regain sexual function and bladder control.
Female Program
The Devine-Jordan Center surgeons are experts in pelvic surgery for:
- incontinence
- prolapse
- vesicovaginal or ureterovaginal fistulas after pelvic surgery
- vaginal reconstruction following surgery for cancer or other pelvic surgery
- other aspects of complex pelvic reconstructive surgery.
